As an Island Arts Council supporter, you will receive many benefits beyond the knowledge that you're supporting the arts at large on Whidbey Island. Some of those benefits are listed below. We are currently rethinking our membership level structure, and will have an update for you in the near future. Organizations, individuals, families, artists, students, and sponsors/donors will all receive special additional benefits in our new membership packages. Stay tuned!

Basic Individual Member Benefits include:

  • Online Newsletter (Quarterly)
  • Reduced Rate at IAC sponsored education
  • First right of refusal for sign up for classes
  • Artist Opportunities (Call to artists) in newsletter and website
  • Website exposure - including individual artist’s web pages hosted here (coming soon!) in a comprehensive Whidbey artists directory
  • Access to listing art events on IAC calendar

COMING IN SEPTEMBER 2008 - The 12TH ANNUAL Whidbey Island Open Studio Tour

The Whidbey Island Open Studio Tour is an Island Arts Council event. It carries on a long tradition of the Island as a haven for artists. In 2007 over 100 artists and craftsmen opened their studios to give the public a unique opportunity to glimpse their creative world. It is art at the source. Painters, sculptors, photographers, potters, glass blowers, woodworkers, jewelers and crafters will demonstrate and explain their creative process during the two days of the tour.
