The Visual Arts Committee awards Whidbey Telecom Grants annually to Whidbey Island visual artists. Solicitation of proposals normally occurs in late winter or early spring. The proposals are juried by off island artists.

In 2008 the Visual Arts Committee cosponsored with Coupeville Arts Center an Artist Trust Grant Writing workshop.
