Katrina has lived on Whidbey since 1996. She owns and operates a glassblowing studio. David Hundley
Vice President

David Hundley is an accomplished commercial and international travel photographer. After earning a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, he moved to New York City and became studio manager for J. Barry O’Rourke. After traveling the world with Barry for nearly 4 years, he moved to Paris and worked as freelance photographer. He returned to New York City and accepted a position as senior staff photographer with the packaging and design firm, Gerstman+Meyers. As his family grew, he returned to his native Seattle.

In 2019, David, his wife Abigail and their dog Cody, sold their longtime Seattle home and bought a house on 4 acres on Whidbey Island, Washington. In 2020, they completed the photo studio and he retired from Louis Dreyfus to pursue art photography full-time. His return to full-time fine art continues a journey that began at Lincoln High School in the 70’s. This journey has produced images from remote and fascinating locations, to his new Whidbey Island backyard.

Jane Fung
Member-at-large

Jane is a business expert who loves to work with amazing people. She found her way to ceramics in 2022 and has completely fallen in love with the process. Her hand-crafted ceramics are a snapshot of the peace and quiet found on Whidbey Island. Each piece captures natural forms and patterns, affording a moment to pick up tranquility and put down the stresses of modern life. For Jane, ceramics have become a way to get back in touch with a feeling of inner calm and natural order. Every piece she makes is infused with joy, whether it’s the joy of foraging local plants, visiting her local herbalist for inspiration, or getting lost in the moment through the hum of the throwing wheel.
