What does WIAC do?

Whidbey Island Arts Council (WIAC) fosters local artists and arts organizations through grants, fiscal management and sponsorship to provide outreach and awareness of the arts and culture on Whidbey Island.

WIAC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, serving Whidbey Island Washington.

Membership

Join our Whidbey Island creative community! WIAC membership includes a variety of valuable benefits, but most importantly you become part of a special circle of people who value the arts on our island. WIAC membership is for everyone. You don't need to be a practicing artist, consider yourself creative, or even live on the island to join. A desire to support the arts on Whidbey Island is the only requirement. Fiscal Sponsorship

Whidbey Island Art Council is an "umbrella" organization, or fiscal sponsor, offering its 501(c)(3) non-profit status to emerging arts organizations on Whidbey Island. Fiscal sponsorship provides not only a non-profit umbrella under which your organization may seek tax-deductible donations and grants, but also monthly bookkeeping reports and annual tax preparation services.
