Haydee Nucamendi and Cristopher Diaz -- First Visiting Oaxacan Artists sponsored by the Kay Parson Memorial Fund
Haydee Nucamendi and Cristopher Diaz -- First Visiting Oaxacan Artists sponsored by WIAC’s Kay Parson Memorial Fund. The Whidbey Working Artists Studio Tour was held on August 16th and 17th. It has been accepted practice during the studio tour for artists to share studio space. By sharing space, artists can showcase more than one type of creative work and enhance the experience for the visitors.
Please contribute to the Kay Parsons Memorial Fund for Visiting Artists
Today, as we prepare to welcome the first of our visiting artists, sponsored by the new Kay Parsons Memorial Fund, we find that the funding to support this visit is slightly short. So, with the generosity of one of our greatest supporters, we are offering some beautiful original pieces from Mexico as premiums for your support! Thanks to Diane Divelbess, herself an accomplished printmaker, for her generous donation. Please join her in support of the Kay Parsons Memorial Fund for Visiting Artists!
